The Allan Smirle Family Residence
(This cement building still stands on Moffat Street as a private residence)
Mr. Peter BOLTON owned this empty lot in 1900, however shortly afterwards - Allan SMRILE purchased the land and built a cement house with a stable and carriage house in the rear.

"Some years later the property was purchased by Mr. HORATIO and his family. At least, they lived there until they bought the old William GILLESPIE house." [I'm not sure if the aforementioned Mr. Horatio should read Mr. Horatio LOUCKS].
